At EMCO, you will assemble pipes, valves, pumps, and meters for water distribution systems. This role requires strong attention to detail and collaboration within a dynamic team. You will receive on-the-job training and have opportunities for career advancement in our supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble pipes and valves as per engineering specifications
• Conduct quality checks and inspect components for defects
• Gather materials based on project specifications and customer needs
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and inspections
• Utilize a forklift to transport materials safely within the workshop
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Experience in assembly work, preferably in waterworks
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs occasionally
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
