The starting annual salary for this full-time School Teacher position ranges from $61,838 to $108,458, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
Case management and generalist teacher for coursework 9-12 with a focus on Ministry of Education required academic coursework and SEL.
Education & Experience
Major/minor or diploma in Special Education
Practicum and/or work experience in Special Education and Mathematics or Science at the Secondary School level.
Case management experience required
Training and experience with Level B Assessments (ie. KBIT2/KTEA III)
Successfully complete and maintain non-violent crisis intervention certification
Eligible for B.C. Certification
Satisfactory teacher evaluation and/or final practicum reports
Teaching Competencies
