Manager, manufacturing engineering – Integration at CMC Electronics Location: 600 boul. Dr‑Frederik‑Philips, Montreal (On site, jour shift) Overview CMC Electronics is a leading supplier of electronic products for the aviation markets, with principal facilities in Montreal, Ottawa, Chicago, and Reston. The Manager, manufacturing engineering – Integration will implement the transversal manufacturing strategy, influencing product build methods, technology adoption, and manufacturing flow to ensure optimal performance. Key Responsibilities Lead a group of engineering graduates and technical specialists Identify, select and introduce new manufacturing technologies Optimize end‑to‑end product manufacturing (yield of existing products and new product introduction) Optimize flows, layout, and workstations Ensure that capital investments are completed on schedule and within budget Qualifications Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or another engineering discipline; additional degree in administration or related field is an asset 5 to 7 years of experience managing a manufacturing engineering team Proven experience organizing, motivating, and training teams Experience optimizing manufacturing processes and procedures in electronics and/or aerospace manufacturing Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset Desired Attributes Engaging leadership with ability to mobilize teams in a unionized environment Strong organizational, action‑oriented, and results‑driven skills High level of autonomy Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Benefits 100% paid group insurance and employer‑matched pension plan Student financial assistance program Free electric charging stations Low‑cost on‑site cafeteria Closed between the holidays World‑class company on a human scale Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Management CMC is committed to employment equity and to the equal access program.
