Build custom container-based structures as a Shop Carpenter in Delta, BC, using framing, finishing, installation, and assembly skills onsite.
Aerotek is hiring a Shop Carpenter for a permanent, fully onsite position supporting custom projects. The work includes measuring, layout, cutting, fitting, fastening, and assembly. You will read shop drawings and specifications while contributing to quality production targets and an organized shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry, framing, finishing, installation, and assembly
- Measure, lay out, cut, fit, and fasten components
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with production teams on quality targets
- Maintain safe, organized, and 5S-supported work areas
Requirements:
- Three or more years of carpentry experience
- Experience with measuring, layout, framing, finishing, and installation
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable, independent, and able to work within teams
