Base pay range CA$90,000.00/yr - CA$110,000.00/yr In-office (with some flexibility, project-dependent) Are you the kind of person who takes things apart to see how they work — then puts them back together in smarter, stranger, better ways? Our client is a fast-growing creative technology studio pushing the boundaries of experiential and interactive work. They’re looking for a Senior Creative Technologist who can take ideas from concept to real-world deployment. You don’t need to know how everything is done already. You do need the curiosity, confidence, and technical depth to figure it out. WHAT YOU’LL DO Research emerging technologies and prototype interactive concepts using APIs, sensors, and new hardware Work with rapid prototyping tools, including 3D printing (FDM/SLA), laser cutting, and PCB design (Altium, Eagle, KiCad) Execute hands‑on fabrication in a shop environment (soldering, assembly, power tools, etc.) Write clean, reliable, well‑documented code to drive interactive systems Lead small‑to‑medium project teams and mentor junior technologists Work directly with clients and senior leadership to translate creative and marketing goals into technical solutions Collaborate with Creative Directors, Designers, and Project Managers to deliver projects on time and on budget THE TOOLKIT Strong working knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, C/C++, HTML/JS/CSS, Shell, Node.js, Unreal, Unity) Experience building reliable systems for live environments Proficiency in real-time interactive tools — TouchDesigner experience is highly valued Deep hands‑on experience with physical computing (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, sensors) Real‑world fabrication and “making” experience (woodworking, model making, general shop work) Strong time management and ability to manage shifting priorities Confident leading projects from concept through execution WHO YOU ARE A creative problem‑solver who loves blending code, hardware, and design Comfortable explaining complex technical ideas to non‑technical stakeholders Adaptable and energized by fast‑paced, agency‑style environments Reliable under pressure — you build systems that don’t fail when they go live QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in Creative Technology, Experiential Marketing, Engineering, or similar fields A strong portfolio showing a mix of software, hardware, and physical build work Willing to travel occasionally for installations and activations OTHER DETAILS Full‑time, primarily in‑office role (some flexibility depending on project needs) Travel within and outside Canada required — valid passport needed Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required If you’re excited by the intersection of technology, creativity, and hands‑on building , this is a rare opportunity to work on projects people actually remember. #J-18808-Ljbffr
