Position Part Time Security Guard Site One Bloor, First Capital Pay Rate $19.00 per hour Schedule Saturday & Sunday (0000 - 1200) OT Method Overtime Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours Posting Date January 12th, 2026 Internal Closing Date January 19th, 2026 External Closing Date January 26th, 2026 Key Responsibilities Being alert and observant while outside, standing or walking for an extended period in all weather conditions (Rain, Snow, Excessive Heat & Cold…etc.) Maintain communications with fellow Security Guard/dispatchers, client personnel and Paladin managerial staff. Ensure all site staff adhere to all Paladin Security policies and procedures. Complete mobile patrols diligently. Document and investigate security incidents and complaints. Communicate any concerns/issues with Supervisor/Client Service Manager or the client. Maintain the highest standard of security, being professional in attitude, appearance and application. Represent Paladin Security, Yorkville Village and their respected customers to enhance the quality, image and reputation. Perform security duties in accordance with established procedures and within the limitations of any federal, provincial and municipal laws. Be observant and record all discrepancies, deficiencies and safety hazards/concerns noted during patrols and take corrective action either by informing the applicable department or handling it personally, whenever possible. Be courteous and helpful in enforcing all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Respond immediately to any emergency and coordinate response accordingly based on established procedures. Prerequisites Valid Security License for the province of Ontario. Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (from a WSIB‑approved vendor). COVID vaccine – two doses. Valid G‑class Driver License. Must provide driver abstract: no more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years. English (oral and written) fluency is a must. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field. Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB).
