Johnson Electric is hiring a CNC Setter Operator for a four-month Winter 2027 co-op term. This full-time contract supports automotive manufacturing through CNC setup, part handling, machine adjustments, and SPC data collection. You will also support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC machines and install required tooling
- Load and unload parts to production targets
- Monitor performance and adjust part sizes
- Collect and chart SPC data
- Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Enrollment in CNC Machining or related Manufacturing program
- Basic knowledge of machining and CNC equipment
- Understanding of CNC controls and programming fundamentals
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Build hands-on CNC setup, machining, SPC, and problem-solving experience with Johnson Electric in Stratford.
