Visit us at RedIron.com Job Description Software developers work with existing team members to deliver critical projects and modules, many of which require expertise in specific technical domains. They will split their time between working on core product enhancements and customer-specific implementations. Our products are based on the Microsoft Platform, primarily focusing on the .NET framework and C#. We also use Java and Linux for select projects. Our engineering team employs Agile methodologies to manage and deliver solutions. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development Proficiency in .NET Core, Java, or C++ Experience with multi-threaded programming Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio or Eclipse Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills Sense of ownership and commitment to project success Ability to produce high-quality, consistent, and optimized code Ability to understand the broader business implications of projects Experience in producing system and technical requirement documentation Disciplined in documentation and using project collaboration tools Ability to multitask and prioritize under demanding timelines Key Responsibilities Work independently and take ownership of project delivery Ensure quality in project delivery, including testing, security, documentation, and coding standards Collaborate with QA and PM teams; report to team lead or supervisor Contribute to project requirements and design Understand business requirements and their impact on projects to support design decisions Ensure project compliance with development methodologies Mentor and guide other developers for continuous improvement Additional Information Beneficial Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Service-Oriented Architecture Testing frameworks JIRA Jenkins Python C# Knowledge of retail Point-of-Sale systems and related concepts Health benefits are available after a 90-day probation period.
