We are seeking a skilled Contract Retail Recruiter to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to fill retail positions within our organization. This role requires a keen understanding of the retail industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful recruitment in fast-paced environments.


This position will report into the VP of Recruiting.


Please note, this is a contract position. Hours and schedule may vary depending on business needs. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.


What you get to do every day:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels, job boards, social media, networking, and other avenues.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Coordinator and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the interview process, including providing feedback and guidance to candidates.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with other recruitment-related tasks and projects as assigned.


What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience.
  • Proven 5 years’ experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Knowledge of retail recruitment best practices and trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work on a contractual basis and adapt to changing priorities.
