Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Work with peers and customers to support mortgage systems and ensure deliverables are according to Scotiabank's internal policies, standards and templates based on business, project and systems specs. Primary point of escalation for on call staff. Participate in project planning, estimate and review processes. Ability to showcase progress in projects/initiatives/programs, holding people accountable to their commitments and making sure we are on track for successful delivery Assisting senior management to enforce standards and methodology; ensuring solutions are in line with the technology standard/roadmap and mentoring the technical team members. Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Work on multiple complex projects/initiatives as a delivery leader. Present and leverage technical information and solutions in a way that establishes trust relationships, persuades stakeholders and achieves understanding and consensus at all levels. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: 5+ years of experience in managing the E2E delivery in complex system built various technology. 5+ years of experience in driving teams to meet project/initiative with collaboration with business and other system partners. Strong technical background (i.e. ability to read code, provide feedback, knowledge of software design patterns). Experience with Cloud-based applications (Google Cloud Platform). Working experience in an Agile environment with complex project delivery. Flexible and ready to adapt to a dynamic environment. Solid understanding of software release process (environments, binary repositories, CI/CD). Attention to details, high standards for quality, ability to balance risk with technological advancements. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with ability to build and foster relationships with business users, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners and external vendors. Hands‑on technical working experience in modernizing legacy systems or similar transformational initiatives. 5+ years of experience with banking domain (specially in Mortgage area) is an asset.
