Position : HR Generalist Non-Profit – Employee Relations and Health & Safety Location : North York Join our client, a non-profit organization as an HR Generalist We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on HR Professional to support the full spectrum of HR operations. The role will be touching on various facets of Human Resource but with more focus on Employee Relations and Health & Safety. Responsibilities : Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns Mediate conflicts and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures Implement and support programs / activities that promote employee well-being and work-life balance Collaborate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to create a positive work environment Foster a positive working environment and support employee engagement initiatives Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and providing hiring recommendations Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as contracts, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions Support in the administration of payroll operations, statutory submissions, and ensure data accuracy and compliance The Successful Applicant : Must have nonprofit experience Must have union experience Minimum of 3-4 years of proven HR Generalist experience with focus on Employee Relations & Health & Safety University Degree in Human resources, Psychology, or related field Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment This role requires someone to be on Site 5 x per week Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact with internal and external contacts Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a positive can-do attitude Ability to leverage HR analytics to assess recruitment effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-informed decisions Team player with the ability to work independently High level of professionalism and integrity, and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion If you think you are the right candidate for the position, please send your resume to #J-18808-Ljbffr
