SAP SD Support Consultant

We are looking to hire an experienced SAP SD Consultant to support our growing SAP practice and our existing projects. Job Description SAP SD Consultant is responsible for ongoing support for the SD module and demonstrates in-depth knowledge of its integration with SAP FI and MM modules. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to the client’s top management and confidently drive meetings with senior client team members. Experience in the logistics industry for the entire OTC process is mandatory to understand SAP business requirements and provide solutions to ongoing production issues related to Sales and Distribution. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD issues related to order management, outbound delivery, shipping documents, billing, and transportation. Handle Level 2 support tickets escalated from business/end-users and Level 1 support teams. Monitor IDocs and resolve integration issues between SAP and 3rd-party logistics/carrier systems. Support configuration of SD modules including pricing, shipping points, delivery scheduling, and transportation planning. Work with cross-functional teams (e.g. MM, WM, FI) to support end-to-end SD and logistics processes and demonstrate deep understanding with other modules as well. Create and update functional specifications for enhancements, reports, or interfaces as needed. Assist in testing of system changes, bug fixes, and transport requests for SD. Document solutions and maintain up-to-date SOPs and user guides. Demonstrate good knowledge of SD functional configuration in SPRO and other areas as applicable for troubleshooting production issues. Plan and lead performance, stress, and other capacity testing scenarios on the SAP landscape and manage transport requests. Deliver senior-level consulting skills to address client pain points, prepare detailed presentations and procedure documents, and train teams as needed. Lead the functional modules with industry knowledge and experience. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio. Work Experience 8+ years of experience delivering support for SAP SD module in large SAP environments, preferably within logistics and/or supply chain industry. Minimum 3 project full SAP lifecycle implementation experience. Valid SAP SD certification in ECC/ERP or S/4HANA. (Certification must not be older than 3 years) Good knowledge of translating ABAP, Custom Reports, LSMW, Background Jobs, Material Management (MM), Finance and Controlling (FICO) and other SAP functional areas. Critical thinker and capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines. Ability to manage workload at various levels and effectively multitask. Demonstrated project management skills in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects. Ability to facilitate collaboration with internal and external groups to ensure participation of key stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. Qualifications Must be able to work in the Eastern Time Zone (EST) remotely for Canadian clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive ongoing meetings with clients. Ability to work in flexible hours per client needs. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD Module. SAP Certifications in SD.
