True North Cannabis Co. and True North Vapes are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Associates to join our growing team
As a Cannabis & Vape Sales Associate, you'll play an important role in providing an exceptional shopping experience across our cannabis and vape retail operations. Whether assisting experienced customers or welcoming someone new, you'll help customers make informed purchasing decisions while ensuring all sales comply with applicable regulations.

What You Bring to the Team
A passion for retail sales, customer service, and learning about cannabis and vaping products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
Strong sales abilities and confidence recommending products to customers.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow company policies and regulatory requirements.
Basic math skills and experience handling cash or processing transactions.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with operating hours potentially ranging from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM .
Must meet the legal age requirements for employment in Ontario cannabis retail.
Must hold a valid, AGCO-approved cannabis retail training certification (CannSell or another currently approved program) before performing cannabis retail duties.
Ability to meet applicable background screening and regulatory eligibility requirements.
Previous Experience Is an Asset
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or retail operations.
Knowledge of cannabis strains, product formats, accessories, vaping devices, e-liquids, and related products.
Experience using retail POS systems and handling inventory.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts.
Frequent bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of merchandise up to 40 lbs.
Ability to work shifts lasting approximately 8–12 hours, depending on scheduling requirements.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team for all or part of a scheduled shift.
Ability to complete routine cleaning, stocking, merchandising, and store maintenance tasks.
