The Project We are working on a turn-based fantasy RPG hero collector built in Unity and designed to be a direct competitor to Raid: Shadow Legends. Created by fans of the genre with a community-first mindset, we're pushing the depth and gameplay of hero collectors in bold new directions. Players will command legendary heroes and gods drawn from inspiring mythologies—Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Inca, Japanese, and British folklore—with over 200 characters available at launch. The game features deep single-player content alongside social features through our guild system, Pantheon. We're developing simultaneously for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. Your Mission Execute test cases and exploratory testing across PC (Windows/Mac) and mobile (Android/iOS) builds Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps using our issue tracking system Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing after updates Test character abilities, stats, synergies, and balance across 200+ heroes Validate cross-platform functionality and progression systems Test social and multiplayer features including the Pantheon guild system Collaborate with developers and designers to communicate issues and suggest improvements Participate in playtests and provide feedback on gameplay, UX, and overall fun factor Help maintain and update test documentation as features evolve ✅What You Bring 2+ years of experience in game QA or a strong portfolio demonstrating testing expertise Hands-on experience with Unity-based games Familiarity with mobile and PC testing across multiple platforms Strong written communication skills for clear bug reporting Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Mantis, or similar) Genuine passion for turn-based RPGs and hero collector games Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment Comfortable with repetitive testing while maintaining attention to detail ⭐ Bonus Points Experience with Raid: Shadow Legends or similar hero collectors (Summoners War, AFK Arena, Epic Seven) Understanding of gacha mechanics, progression systems, and live-ops testing Familiarity with test automation tools or scripting Interest in mythology and folklore Experience testing free-to-play economies and monetization systems Previous work on a game from early development through launch Location This is ahybrid / remote role based in Montreal, Quebec . We're building a centralized team in one of gaming's most vibrant cities.
