Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in dental assisting and a passion for patient care.Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions- Perform basic lab tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns- Maintain a clean and organized work environmentRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- Current certification in dental radiography- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred- Knowledge of orthodontics and CAD/CAM technology is a plus- Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Epic) is beneficialSkills:- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Ability to work well in a team environment- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficientlyJoin our team of dedicated dental professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
