Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Airport Project Join our team at AECOM as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator for a leading airport project. Job Description
Key responsibilities include Developing and implementing the program’s estimate breakdown structure and measurement methods. Reviewing and evaluating contractor cost estimates, including target-price submissions and change requests. Advising Program and Commercial Leads on cost-estimating best practices. Conducting bottom‑up estimates to validate contractor estimates as part of the assurance process.
Maintaining a comprehensive database of rates and benchmark data for the program. Working closely with PMO Services to report and integrate estimating data for program‑wide initiatives. Minimum Requirements University degree in quantity surveying, cost or commercial management, project management, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in quantity surveying/estimating on large infrastructure programs.
Preferred Requirements Recognized designation such as CCP, PQS, MRICS, or equivalent. 10 years of experience in quantity surveying/estimating for large infrastructure programs.
Experience
with aviation programs. Proficiency in MS Office and cost‑management software tools.
Experience
in cost reporting and integrating cost information across programs. Broad understanding of program controls and the relationship between cost, schedule, risk, and scope. Additional Information This position requires on-site work in the office five days a week.
