UAT Testing Manager - Empower LOS Implementation 11/18/2025 Contract Active Job Description: Job Summary The UAT Testing Manager will lead and manage all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for the implementation of the Empower Loan Origination System (LOS). This role ensures that the platform and associated digital lending channels meet all business, functional, and compliance requirements prior to production deployment. A strong background in financial services, LOS platforms (preferably Empower), and UAT leadership in Agile environments is essential. Key Responsibilities Design and manage a comprehensive UAT plan, strategy, and schedule for Empower LOS implementation across loan products (mortgage, consumer, commercial). Define UAT scope, entry/exit criteria, resource requirements, and defect management processes. Oversee creation and review of detailed UAT test scenarios and cases validating business requirements and regulatory compliance (TRID, HMDA). Coordinate sourcing and preparation of anonymized test data for UAT environments. Orchestrate daily UAT execution, ensuring effective engagement of business users. Own the defect lifecycle: lead triage meetings, prioritize issues, track resolution, and manage retesting. Provide clear and concise status reporting to senior management and stakeholders on UAT progress, risks, and readiness. Obtain formal UAT sign-off confirming system readiness for production deployment. Required Qualifications 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance and Testing, with at least 3 years in a UAT Manager or Test Lead role. Proven experience leading UAT for LOS implementations in banking or financial services. Direct experience with Empower LOS (Black Knight) highly preferred. Expertise with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM/Quality Center). Ability to interpret technical and business requirements and validate against test results. Familiarity with test automation concepts and integration into UAT processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Agile or iterative project environments.
