Overview Environment Manager, Manufacturing – Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Lead environmental compliance initiatives across Canadian operations. Short‑Term Incentive Bonus RRSP Matching Employee Share Purchase Program Matching Employer‑paid medical, dental and vision coverage Paid vacation Relocation assistance Employee Development Programs Responsibilities Lead environmental programs as the technical expert and environmental leader, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations across Canadian operations. Partner with Mill Managers and EHS Coordinators to integrate and execute the Environmental Management System. Conduct audits, support incident investigations, and drive corrective actions to proactively manage risks and maintain high standards. Oversee regulatory reporting, analyze compliance data for leadership, and deliver training to strengthen environmental awareness and accountability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Knowledge of federal/provincial environmental regulations, permitting, audits, reporting, and Environmental Management Systems. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to influence, problem‑solve, and drive results.
