Senior EBS and Fusion Application Developer 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Centrilogic Position Description This role will primarily be responsible for designing Oracle EBS application programs, Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM and/or configuring the system to address business needs. Additionally, this individual will provide programming assistance for new systems and maintain and/or enhance existing systems as needed. The Senior Developer will implement best practice methodologies and tools to assist in the planning, monitoring, and execution of eBusiness Suite support and projects, collaborating with departmental personnel and clients to ensure deliverables fall within scope and budget. The governing principle of the Senior Developer is customer satisfaction that ultimately results in a referenceable client. Responsibilities Create functional and technical specifications and documentation for required EBS and Fusion software development changes, and implement these specifications. Assist with design software test plans and work with users to develop and execute test cases for business process scenarios using the EBS applications and Fusion Cloud ERP & EPM. Manage post‑implementation support, including troubleshooting applications, assisting users with production issues, and providing end‑user training as required. Perform additional development work including data conversions and interfaces to third‑party software products. Conduct data analysis and create ad‑hoc queries and reports. Perform/co‑ordinate system maintenance on eBusiness Suite and Fusion Cloud ERP activities, including scheduled jobs. Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and business users to provide detailed system information. Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions. Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions. Guide development teams through the development life cycle to ensure project success within expected scope, budget, and timeline. Oversee software development to ensure quality standards are met. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Support application fixing through SIT, UAT and post‑project implementation. Develop solutions and ensure documentation follows standards. Manage large project design and solution development. Identify and escalate key issues as needed. Identify potential improvements that enhance the customer experience. Participate in recurring and/or periodic meetings internally and with clients. Perform knowledge transfer with technical and functional team members. Collaborate with project team to resolve issues. Display professionalism in all aspects of communication with customers. Participate in weekly status meetings and provide updates. Enter weekly timesheet in the appropriate managed services contract within the ticketing and time‑entry system. Provide mentorship to team members. Integrate Fusion with other third‑party applications and import/export data into/from Oracle Fusion using File Loaders and REST/SOAP API calls. Additional Responsibilities Implement eBusiness Suite and Fusion ERP projects and functionality. Meet with customers to clarify specific project requirements. Provide functional and technical specifications and work with project team for eBusiness Suite, Fusion ERP and EPM development. Maintain scope for project work. Escalate internally when issues arise. Recommend solutions identified by project needs as they arise. Effectively document project deliverables outlined in Centrilogic’s project methodology. Ensure all deliverables are provided in a timely manner in a consistent format and standard agreed upon at the project onset. Identify and solve project issues efficiently. Demonstrate leadership and professionalism. Required Experience & Skills Experience with multiple EBS implementations, Fusion ERP and EPM implementations and upgrade projects. Experience with managed services support. Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, including management. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects. Strong work ethic and commitment to the company. Good interpersonal skills and teamwork. Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems. 5+ years of eBusiness Suite software development experience (versions 11.0–12.2) and 5+ years in Fusion Cloud ERP. Responsible for functional SDLC tasks and technical development work in PL/SQL and Java (Oracle Applications Framework). Utilize SQL for data fixes (complex queries, insert/update/delete). Hands‑on experience with XML Publisher, Oracle Reports issues. Hands‑on experience with OTBI Reporting, dashboards, custom reporting. Hands‑on experience integrating Fusion with third‑party applications and using REST/SOAP APIs. Experience with modules such as Financials, Procurement, Logistics, Order Management/Shipping, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Project Management, Project Costing, Fusion Subscriptions. Experience with AP ACH and AP Positive Pay. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word). Attention to detail and advanced problem‑solving, workflow analysis, and root cause analysis. Strong troubleshooting skills. Translate business requirements into effective solutions. Responsible for requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Manage menus (create/update and migration). Troubleshoot production issues following company and client procedures. Provide excellent customer service, professionalism, listening, and communication. Document training material, SOPs, design specs, and other reference material. Understand fundamental design principles of scalable applications. Experience with OBIEE and OAC is preferred.
