Senior Transfers Administrator (Temporary) Senior Transfers Administrator – Temporary, full-time, 12‑month assignment. Base pay range: CA$55,000 – CA$65,000 per year. About the Role Report to the Supervisor, Transfers and handle the daily processing, review and approval of financial‑industry transfers. Work closely with other departments and, when necessary, with external financial institutions. Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently process transfers in accordance with company policies and procedures, and review and approve staff journals. Review and process month‑end reconciliations within deadline. Ensure proper protocol when delaying requests and communicate clearly with tracking systems. Use company‑approved systems (e.g., Laserfiche, OSM, Dataphile, ATON) in compliance with policy and regulations. Keep peers and supervisor informed of issues or changes arising from daily activity. Maintain and update internal manuals when policies, regulations or systems change. Provide coaching, mentoring and coverage for the team and supervisor. Lead department projects and represent the team on larger initiatives. Investigate and resolve escalated issues promptly, balancing partner and business needs. Deliver quality customer service and meet or exceed expectations of partners and clients. Exercise sound judgment when balancing partner needs with business priorities. Promote continuous improvement and generate ideas for initiatives. Qualifications Post‑secondary education in business or financial administration preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience processing transfers in a back‑office department of a financial securities firm. Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC Operations Course is an asset. Knowledge of Dataphile, ATON, CDS, Arrow and/or Fundserv is an asset. Familiarity with registered plan products (RRSPs, RRIFs, Locked‑in plans) and investments such as mutual funds and equities. Strong organizational, time‑management and decision‑making skills in a detailed environment. Ability to work calmly, accurately and effectively in a fast‑paced setting while meeting deadlines. Superior customer‑service skills and quick issue resolution. Highly detail‑oriented with solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with all levels of management and staff. Team player who can work independently and train others. Self‑motivated and results‑driven with effective delegation. Intermediate Outlook, Excel and Word skills. Fluent English required; French is an asset.
