Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating industrial forklifts to load, unload, move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, or containers Move products and materials to designated storage or work areas Stack, organize, and store materials according to company procedures Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues Verify product counts and assist with inventory control Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with general warehouse or production duties as needed Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Proven experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.) Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more) Strong attention to detail and safety Basic math and record-keeping skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments Work Environment Warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing plant, or outdoor work site Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and heavy equipment
