The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking Licensed Millwrights to join our Mining Client in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a full-time position with various work locations including in the shop locally as well as out of town work.
Responsibilities:
- Work on various mining sites.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Interest in building and repairing a variety of mechanical systems with specialized experience in the industrial mining and commercial sectors
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Ability to visualize a layout looking at plans
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Operating hoisting and lifting device to position machinery and parts during the installation, set up and repair of machinery
- Ability to follow the company and H&S policies.
Requirements:
- Mechanic/Industrial Millwright Skilled Trades License required
- Mining related Experience
- ZES, Fit Test, Working from heights, underground common core modules
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of the team
- Have Valid Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract for company vehicle
