Postdoctoral Opportunity – Canada Impact+ Research Training Award (CIRTA) I am seeking exceptional postdoctoral candidates currently based outside Canada who may be eligible for nomination under the Canada Impact+ Research Training Awards (CIRTA) program. Key features of the award: Funding: $70,000/year for up to 2 years Start: Must activate by March 31, 2027 Focus: Research aligned with national priority areas (e.g., AI & digital technologies, health & biotech, clean technology, climate & environment, advanced manufacturing, food & water security, democratic resilience) Eligibility requirements (important): ✔ Currently working or studying outside Canada ✔ No current affiliation with a Canadian institution ✔ Completed (or near completion of) a PhD ✔ Strong research record and clear independent research trajectory ✔ Research proposal clearly aligned with CIRTA priority areas ✔ Willing to relocate to Canada for the award period Candidates cannot apply directly — the award requires institutional nomination .
