Compensation: CAD 50,000 - CAD 55,000 - yearly Company Description Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package. As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030. The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction. What is the project? A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River). Stations: One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station. Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations. Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown). The benefits to Ontario Faster, more frequent, and reliable access to rapid transit with more than 227,500 people will live within a 10-minute walk of an Ontario Line station. Improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time. Reduce crowding on the existing Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway. Up to 57,000 more jobs accessible by transit (in 45 minutes or less) for Toronto residents. Economic and community growth along the future transit line and thousands of job opportunities annually during construction. Reduction in traffic congestion, greenhouse gases, and fuel consumption by providing an alternative transportation option. Please note this is a co-op role that is estimated to start in May 2026 for a twelve to sixteen month term. Job Description The position of Quality Administrator Co-op is to assist the Ontario Transit Group Construction Quality team in ensuring satisfactory Quality Recording of construction work and materials inspection & testing for the Ontario Line South Project. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Administer and follow-up the databases of quantities for activities performed by subcontractors to allow for a detailed cost control. Review additional requests, gather quotes and prepare Change Orders relating to changes in scope for the existing subcontracts. Review Payment Applications against the quantities databases and activities performed. Track documentation status for the department, to allow for detailed reporting, deviations and delays monitoring, and reminders issuance. Assist with administrative tasks relating to department-wide document production and issuance. Assist with organization of audits and other events for the department (issuance of notifications, logistics, etc…) Assist the team for internal, JV partners and Client reporting on Quality aspects. Other ad hoc tasks as assigned. Qualifications Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate program in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering. Document management software: SharePoint, ACC, BIM360, ProjectWise, Dalux, and Procore is an asset. Versatility and strong organizational skills. Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset; you embrace challenges Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you're an effective communicator.
