Join to apply for the Weekend Buyer, Packaging role at HelloFresh Role Overview This is a weekend role offering a 4‑day work week. As the Weekend Packaging Procurement Buyer, you will own purchasing and inventory management activities for a variety of packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring that the right product is at the right place at the right time while meeting cost targets, contracted suppliers, demand needs and logistical parameters. You will manage key weekly operations processes including placing POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, analysing data and managing inventory and capacity levels. You will collaborate with HelloFresh distribution centres, 3PL warehouse locations and suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries, maintain inventory levels that align with production schedules, and hold suppliers accountable for on‑time delivery and quality. You will resolve unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance, lead and facilitate team meetings with warehouse and procurement teams, manage cross‑functional continuous improvement initiatives, work with internal stakeholders to build and improve off‑site production capabilities, and support teammates to ensure that no boxes are missed and no ingredients are subbed due to supply‑chain challenges.
