Primary Duties Scope, plan, manage, direct, and monitor all aspects of drinking water and wastewater projects and contracts with high technical complexity. Interface with clients and lead and supervise teams of engineers and CAD professionals to create detailed master plans, designs, and cost estimates. Develop and execute scope, schedule, and fees for planning and design projects. Develop and implement QA/QC and risk management plans. Develop project design criteria, schematics, and methods. Perform or oversee modeling and hydraulic calculations for gravity and pressure piping systems. Prepare preliminary design, basis of design reports, routing and alignment studies, and other engineering reports. Write engineering specifications and front‑end documents. Oversee production of design drawings. Work directly with owners to exceed expectations. Prepare proposals in partnership with technical leadership and marketing. Preferred Qualifications 8–10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry. Strong mechanical detailed design experience with technologies and equipment. Leadership and commitment to technical development and mentorship. Experience developing detailed scopes and fees for planning and design projects. Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Condition assessment and rehabilitation experience of pressure and gravity pipelines. Existing relationships with clients in the Greater Toronto Area. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 7 years of related experience. Minimum 2 years of project management experience. Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) in the location of the position. MS Office and MS Project experience required (Access a plus).
