Job Overview If becoming an Inspector is of interest to you, and you meet the requirements listed in the job posting, we ask you to submit your fully completed online application, including a detailed resume of your previous employment with employer's names and dates employed, work history, education, and date of issue of your original 309A license. Responsibilities Examining electrical drawings and inspecting installations to ensure electrical code compliance Advising customers Creating and maintaining inspection records Investigating and reporting on electrical fires and accidents Required Qualifications and Experience Requires a current Certificate of Qualification Electrician Journeyperson, construction and maintenance and have at least 7 years experience (residential, farm, commercial, industrial and HV Substations). Must have good knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, through knowledge and understanding of the practices of the electrical industry in installing and maintaining electrical equipment. Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Requires ability to express self clearly both verbally and in writing, to be able to build and maintain good customer relations, to be able to work safely and independently. Requires ability to understand business financial reports and computer skills.
