Job Description We are currently seeking a talented graduate Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to enhance our multi-disciplinary Forensic Architecture & Engineering team. With a reputation for excellence and creativity based upon our ability to solve problems and create value, we offer the opportunity to grow professionally and work on exciting building projects in BC and across Canada. Responsibilities Define, analyze, and solve engineering problems. Conduct research and analyses that will be translated into technical reports. Write reports and proposals based on on‑site field assessments. Travel extensively within British Columbia and across Canada to visit construction sites. Regularly manage and communicate multiple stakeholders such as other Engineers, Architects, government authorities, developers, contractors, etc. Receive extensive training in Building Code and principles of fire engineering. Be involved in developing solutions for fire and life safety in buildings. This role would be primarily in‑office, with the option for remote work once the candidate is fully up to speed. Qualifications Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Fire Protection). Strong background in a related field, such as: fire dynamics fluid mechanics building materials pedestrian flow theory finite element analysis structural design Experience working on challenging engineering problems through past co‑op, internship, or industry experience. Experience conducting related research. Prior code consulting experience would be considered an asset. Proven experience writing technical reports and proposals. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Physical and Mental Job Qualifications Must be able to commute and work in person on a hybrid schedule in our Vancouver office. Must be able to travel to different regions within British Columbia, and across Canada. Benefits Flexible remote work when needed. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus benefits and opportunities for advanced training and education.
