Perform strenuous construction labor with Veit, using hand tools, power equipment, and safety procedures at project sites. Travel is required as needed.
This Laborer role supports construction projects through material handling, site preparation, excavation support, and cleanup. Work includes loading trucks, hauling materials, maintaining safe sites, and assisting craft workers. Candidates need construction experience or equivalent education and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform strenuous manual labor at construction project sites
- Load, unload, haul, and hoist construction materials
- Clean, secure, and maintain job sites daily
- Support utility locating and trench protection requirements
- Assist other craft workers and management as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six to twelve months of construction experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of construction equipment, materials, and safety guidelines
- OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
Bring dependable labor, equipment knowledge, and safety awareness to Veit construction projects involving utilities and demanding field conditions.
