The Impact You Will Have As our Sr. Technical Solution Architect, AWS you will challenge customers to build agile infrastructure solutions through the adoption of AWS Cloud technologies. The role facilitates sales motions, designs and presents on cloud journeys, and positions value‑added solutions that help clients transition contracts and deliverables. What You’ll Do The architecture and design of holistic AWS cloud solutions with focus on cloud migration and data center modernization backed by data‑driven insights. Collaborate with AWS Account Executives and AWS Presales Specialists to support customers on their journeys to AWS. Create strategic cloud roadmaps or initiatives that move the needle with customers. Take a leadership role in bridging the gap between business outcomes and IT initiatives. Create alignment between IT and AWS cloud solutions. Establish a mutual cloud vision that customers want to embrace and execute upon. Document the agreed‑upon solution through well‑written, thoughtful and detailed statements of work (SOW) for Softchoice services. Collaborate with the service delivery teams to ensure services are delivered as specified in your SOW and meet customer business outcome objectives. Provide client feedback to solution development team members who manage and innovate AWS cloud services offerings. Participate in innovation activities that place customer experience at the forefront of solution development. What You’ll Bring To The Table 7+ years of relevant industry experience implementing and/or selling cloud solutions; at least 3 years in a presales capacity. AWS certification(s). Solutions Architect Professional is required. Passion for working with technical resources and business leaders to establish trust and credibility. Understanding of DevOps and application modernization concepts and their application to a customer’s cloud journey. Ability to make people feel heard; strong teamwork and leadership skills. Responsive, effective communicator who aligns the goals of multiple stakeholders. Strong communicator in public speaking and presentation skills, leveraging video calls, whiteboarding, and PowerPoint. Passionate and creative problem solver. Quick learner, always curious about new technologies and their business impact. Change agent who thrives in fast‑paced environments. Being bilingual in French is an asset. Pay Range The typical base pay range for this role in Ontario is $116,030 – $154,700. Each offer will consider factors such as experience and location. This role also includes additional compensation elements (base salary, allowance, bonus, commission, etc.) and a comprehensive benefits plan. Not sure if you qualify?
