  • Must be located in Montreal and bilingual (french and english)
  • 3 days in office with the team


Role Overview: Data Engineer (Bilingual)


We are on the lookout for a Data Engineer who is not just adept at managing and analyzing vast datasets but is also fluent in navigating conversations and projects in both English and French with clients. This role is for the bold, for those ready to take initiative, engage directly with clients , and lead projects to success. We put a strong emphasis on being able to talk directly with clients, handling support, projects and customer needs


Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage large-scale data projects from inception to execution.
  • Design and maintain efficient, scalable ETL and data pipelines.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, validation, and integrity of data for advanced analytics and machine learning applications.
  • Integrate diverse datasets to empower decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Engage in software development practices to build robust, high-performance solutions.
  • Drive initiatives, taking full ownership of data projects and collaborating across departments.
  • Directly interact with clients, demonstrating a proactive approach to understanding their needs and delivering tailored data insights.


Essential Qualifications

  • Proficiency in both English and French, with strong communication skills for effective client interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Solid experience in software engineering or data management, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to handle large datasets.
  • Expertise in programming and scripting (Python, SQL, Go, or similar), along with knowledge of database management systems.
  • A huge interest for problem-solving, with the analytical acumen to derive insights from complex data structures.
  • A genuine interest in taking on new challenges, managing projects, and working closely with clients to achieve their goals.
