In this role, you’ll oversee diverse, high-impact client engagements while mentoring future audit stars and shaping how we work and grow.What You'll DoAs a Senior Manager, you’ll be the quarterback of your audit engagements, steering the ship from kickoff to final delivery. Here’s what your day might include:Lead the charge as Engagement Manager— planning, executing, and delivering results—while managing timelines, budgets, billing, and collections like a boss. Be the client’s go-to — Build strong, respectful relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service, staying proactive, and showing up with clarity, confidence, and solutions. Keep things moving — Develop detailed work plans, illustrate budgets and schedules, track progress, and make sure everything stays on track with the Engagement Partner looped in. Flex your technical muscles — You’ll apply your deep knowledge of IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, and PCAOB standards to help clients navigate complex audit and accounting challenges. Lead the team — Motivate, coach, delegate, and support your audit crew. Your guidance will shape careers, not just deliverables. Earn trust across the board — Gain the respect and confidence of the Davidson & Company team through clear direction, strong client management, and timely, accurate communication. Collaborate cross-functionally — You’ll help shape operational and strategic planning, client development, and elevate how we do audit. Pack your bags (sometimes) — Occasionally hop on a plane (or a Teams call across time zones) to support clients across Canada and beyond. What You’ll BringYou’re not just experienced — you’re exceptional. Here’s what makes you a great fit:You have your CPA designation (or equivalent) and proud of it. You’ve got 7+ years of public audit and accounting experience, and you're confident leading high-stakes engagements with professionalism and heart. You’ve got 3+ years of people management experience—you know how to lead, coach, and bring out the best in your team. You know IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, and PCAOB like the back of your hand. You're a people-first leader—approachable, inspiring, and invested in helping others grow. Your client service game is top-tier—you build trust fast and always follow through. You're a pro with tools like Caseware, Excel, Word, Outlook, and you’re not afraid to learn more. You’ve got sharp research and project management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and keep things running smoothly—even when it gets a little chaotic.
