The Role: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented housekeeper for a private home in South Cabbagetown (Sherbourne & Shuter area). We are looking for someone who can commit to a long-term schedule and is comfortable with general cleaning as well as occasional household help. Schedule (Non-Negotiable) Tuesdays: 3–4 hours (Start anytime between 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM) Fridays: 3–4 hours (Start anytime between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) Note: Tuesday shifts are specifically timed to coordinate with garbage/recycling pickup. Compensation & Structure Rate: $25.00/hr. Payment: Bi-weekly or monthly via Interac E-Transfer. Status: Independent Contractor. You will need to submit a simple email invoice for payment (we can provide a template for you). Responsibilities Cleaning: Full cleaning of all rooms (dusting, vacuuming, mopping), plus detailed cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms. Laundry: Washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens. Outdoor/Physical Tasks: Taking garbage/recycling to the curb (weekly), snow shoveling or raking leaves (occasional/seasonal), and washing the car (occasional). Kitchen: Light meal prep (occasional). Requirements Experience: Previous housekeeping experience required. Reliability: Must be punctual and possess a strong attention to detail. Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting, bending, and performing outdoor tasks like shoveling when required. Clearance: Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check (paid for by us).
