Regional Manager – Civil Eastern Canada Join to apply for the Regional Manager – Civil Eastern Canada role at Maple Reinders. As a Regional Manager you will have the opportunity to make judicious use of technical, managerial and business skills to manage all aspects of the Region. The main objective is to complete projects safely, profitably, on schedule and with high quality, while mentoring and coaching staff and reporting to the Director of Operations. You will support the initiatives of Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. Responsibilities Complete projects safely, profitably, on schedule and with high quality. Mentor and coach staff. Ensure project execution for all Civil projects assigned in the Region. Manage employee development, resources and operations, including profit/loss and overall performance of assigned Civil projects in line with Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. policies and procedures. Support the Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. and related corporate initiatives. Support the Pre‑Construction team during the pursuit phase. Work directly with staff to ensure projects are launched and effectively managed through all critical phases. Monitor staffing resources through effective talent retention and acquisition, ensuring vacancies are filled immediately and mentoring, coaching and training are provided to all staff. Monitor workload, projects, financial reports, profits/losses and overhead expenses. Advance the development of self‑perform initiatives. Participate in long‑ and short‑term process improvement initiatives through reviewing and improving reporting, procedures, requirements and systems. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage a construction program with numerous projects up to a value of $100m and at least 10 years’ experience in the construction industry. A university degree/technology diploma in Civil Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience. Preferably a professional designation such as P. Eng and/or Gold Seal / LEED certification. Preferably 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role involving coordination and personnel/fiscal management of a business unit.
