Assist in maintaining data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Help document data definitions, data flows, and business rules. Support data quality checks and contribute to improving data accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with data owners and stewards to ensure compliance with governance guidelines. Participate in meetings and prepare summaries or follow-up actions. Assist in managing the data catalog and metadata documentation. Help monitor compliance with data privacy and security requirements. Stay informed about basic data governance concepts and emerging trends. How to thrive in this role? You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent technical background. You have an interest in data governance, data quality, and data management practices. You have a basic understanding of data concepts (e.g., data types, metadata, data privacy). You have familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools like Excel, Power BI or similar. You have strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies. You have previous experience using data catalog tools; Microsoft Purview is an asset. You have the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. You have good communication and collaboration skills; as well as strong ability to create impactful presentations using PowerPoint. You must be capable to communicate in both French and English (spoken, written) in a business context.
