This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, leadership and organization over the activities of the Northeast Zone Pharmacy teams in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The Pharmacy Manager, Northeast Zone will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide pharmacy leadership across the area including with physicians, patient care area leaders, regional and site support services, and union representatives to ensure that any issues impacting the program are identified and addressed. Key Information Classification: Manager Union: Exempt Unit and Program: Pharmacy Primary Location: Westlock Admin Building Location Details: Eligible to work hybrid (on/off site) within Alberta Negotiable Location: Within North Zone Temporary Employee Class: Temp F/T Benefits FTE: 1.00 Posting End Date: 13-JAN-2026 Date Available: 09-FEB-2026 Temporary End Date: 31-MAY-2027 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 2 Shifts per cycle: 10 Shift Pattern: Days Days Off: Saturday/Sunday Minimum Salary: $44.17 Maximum Salary: $75.70 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications A minimum of 5 years in a hospital pharmacy role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in a health care environment. Licensure with the Alberta College of Pharmacy is required. Preferred Qualifications Effective communicator with strong organizational skills and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to engage, inspire and build confidence in others. Can manage change and create innovative solutions. Can manage human, financial and physical resources. Can plan, organize and manage projects and deliver results.
