This role reports to the Manager, IT Enablement Platforms, and focuses on shaping the infrastructure that supports Network solutions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Oversight & Governance Translate business needs into network strategies and ensure compliance. Lead vendor management and governance frameworks. Technical Expertise Comprehensive understanding of enterprise network architecture: switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, cloud connectivity. Assess and validate technical recommendations and decisions. Leadership & Influence Lead without direct operational control, influencing external teams. Foster collaboration and drive outcomes. Risk Management & Security Network security principles and risk mitigation. Resilience and continuity in a managed services model. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Articulate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Represent EDC interests in discussions with service providers and vendors. Continuous Improvement Mindset Stay current on emerging tech trends (AI, AIOps, DevOps, automation). Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and implement changes. Qualifications Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field. Minimum 7 years managing network infrastructure and services. Minimum 1 year as Network Manager, Network Product/Platform Owner, or Network Team Lead. Deep understanding of SDN, LAN/WAN, Data Center, Firewall/Edge, SWG/SASE, DDI, NAC, NDR, NLB. Experience in cloud networking services and hybrid cloud environments. Experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CIS, NIST, ISO). Experience in ITSM/ITOM. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, time management. Strong stakeholder management, initiative, adaptability, collaborative mindset. What Will Make You Stand Out Network certifications: CCNA or higher. Cloud certifications: Azure Network Engineer Associate. Agile Product Owner certifications: CSPO, SAFe PO/PM. ITSM/ITOM: ServiceNow, ITIL. Experience with Cisco technologies in network lifecycle. Azure and VMware hybrid cloud environments. Bilingual in English and French.
