We seek a licensed paralegal with a minimum of five years' experience specifically in Small Claims. You'll be responsible for everything from intake to court appearances, ensuring effective communication with clients and thorough legal research. A proactive mindset and meticulous attention to detail are essential in our supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and file essential court documents
• Manage small claims from intake through enforcement
• Appear in court at trials and conferences
• Conduct legal research on civil matters
• Communicate with clients and opposing parties
• Organize case deadlines and evidence effectively
Requirements:
• Licensed Paralegal in good standing with Ontario
• Minimum 5 years in Small Claims litigation
• Excellent knowledge of court rules and processes
• Strong communication and drafting abilities
• Capacity to work independently under pressure
