DFI is seeking a Journeyman Red Seal Field Welder to support field operations effectively. Candidates will engage in welding and installing piling foundations, carry out minor repairs on the mobile welding truck, and interpret blueprints. This position offers opportunities for career advancement and work across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support installation of Helical and driven piles
• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on mobile welding truck
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints
• Complete structural welding work as needed
• Assist with both Fabrication and Pile Fabrication departments
Requirements:
• Journeyman Red Seal certification required
• Experience with piling foundations necessary
• CWB certification in all positions for SMAW and FCAW
• Clean Driver's Abstract and Class 5 license
• First Aid, Fall Arrest, and Confined Space training
