Toronto, Canada NPAworldwide Full time

Join to apply for the Corporate Development Manager (M&A Execution Role) at NPAworldwide. Toronto | 4 days in office | $ k + 20% bonus We’re partnering with a large, PE-backed, multi‑site services organization executing a high‑volume national acquisition strategy. The Corporate Development team is expanding due to sustained deal flow. This is a net‑new role built to increase execution capacity – not a replacement. If you’re in M&A, Deal Advisory / Transaction Services / Corporate Finance and want real deal ownership beyond spreadsheets and diligence memos, this role is designed for you. The Role (Execution-First) This is a hands‑on M&A execution role, not origination and not arm‑chair strategy. Once an LOI is signed, you run the deal. You’ll Lead end‑to‑end deal execution post‑LOI Coordinate analysts, associates, legal, operations, and third‑party diligence providers Oversee financial analysis and quality control on models and diligence outputs Keep multiple deals moving in parallel with discipline and clarity Build and document repeatable execution processes Surface risks early and keep senior stakeholders informed This is a quarterback role in a high‑velocity M&A environment. Deal Environment ~5 active LOIs at any given time10‑15 deals in motion across stages Typical Targets $300k – $1M EBITDA Purchase prices in the single to low double‑digit millions Performance is judged on execution quality and capacity, not deal count. What Success Looks Like First 3 months Ramp quickly and add value immediately Close at least one live deal Build credibility with senior leadership 6 months Independently run multiple deals Own timelines, coordination, and execution rhythm 12 months Improve and scale execution processes Become a trusted execution lead within the team Qualifications Strong Fit 5+ years in Big 4 Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance, or similar CPA or strong accounting foundation Comfortable working with messy, real‑world financials Strong Excel and PowerPoint Organized, calm, and effective under volume pressure Nice to Have Roll‑up / multi‑site acquisition experience Healthcare or services exposure French language skills Tools & Systems Excel: must be very strong PowerPoint: Monthly board and deal update decks SharePoint CRM: Microsoft Dynamics (deal tracking) Why Is This a Great Opportunity This is a genuinely strong role because it moves someone out of an advisory seat and into real ownership of deals inside a proven, high‑volume acquisition engine. Instead of analyzing transactions and handing them off, the person in this role runs deals end‑to‑end once an LOI is signed, coordinating diligence, legal, operations, and timelines while being accountable for execution quality. The deal flow is consistent and meaningful, which compresses learning and accelerates judgment far faster than lower‑volume corporate development environments. The role has clear boundaries, strong leadership support, and no origination pressure, allowing the focus to stay on execution and process improvement. For someone with a transaction services or deal advisory background, it offers a rare combination of real responsibility, repeatable deal exposure, competitive compensation, and a clear path to becoming a trusted execution leader as the platform continues to scale.
