We are actively seeking several skilled Linepersons to join our team working in and around the Peterborough ON area. The Lineperson will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications and electrical lines.


These are full-time, permanent unionized jobs starting from $39.32/hr + 10% vacation entitlement. Expecting weekly hours: 50 Mon-Fri.


A valid, DZ license is absolutely required at the time of hire.


Duties:

- Operate bucket trucks for line installation and maintenance

- Assist in the installation and repair of network infrastructure

- Perform telephone and WAN line installations

- Utilize bucket operations for elevated work

- Welding tasks as needed for line repairs

- Assist with electrical work including low voltage systems

- Operate forklifts for material handling

- Communicate effectively with team members


Skills:

-Experience with telephone line installations

- Competence in bucket truck operations

- Knowledge of WAN systems

- Welding skills for repairs

- Understanding of electrical systems, particularly low voltage

- Ability to operate a forklift safely

- Strong communication skills to telecommunicate effectively

***A current, valid DZ License is absolutely required for this position***
