Intermediate Building Electrical Engineer – Airport Projects We are looking for an Intermediate Building Electrical Engineer to join the design team based in Montréal, primarily working in the airport building sector. The Montréal electrical engineering group specializes in airport, institutional, commercial, and light industrial projects and has built a reputation for excellence over the years. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work within a highly skilled technical team and apply their knowledge and expertise on significant projects. With the possibility of a hybrid work model, most projects the candidate will work on take place at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team and showcase your talent in electrical design. Your Role Gather basic data from the client and other stakeholders Prepare and monitor schedules and budgets for project execution Participate in all phases of electrical system design, including distribution, lighting, fire alarms, access control, video surveillance, and other related systems Attend coordination meetings Draft technical electrical specifications Estimate project costs Supervise construction monitoring Provide assistance to the client and technical staff About You Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on building systems 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in building electrical systems (mandatory) Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) Strong knowledge of electrical systems in institutional and commercial environments Ability to lead electrical projects Knowledge of electrical systems in airport environments (an asset) Ability to coach junior engineers (an asset) Proficiency in French (spoken and written); bilingualism is an asset* This position requires knowledge of English, as the work produced is intended for audiences located elsewhere in Canada, internationally, or in other regions of the world.
