Help Us Build Something That Actually Makes Sense CORE — Moncton Here's the situation: Right now, when someone owns a home or business in Moncton, they've got a contact list that looks like a mess. One guy for plumbing. Another for electrical. Someone else for appliances. A handyman they sort of trust. A renovation contractor they used once. It's fragmented. Expensive. Annoying. We're fixing that. CORE is a property services company with multiple internal divisions — plumbing, electrical, handyman, renovations, appliance repair, and outdoor work. One team. One number. One partner who actually shows up. We launched a membership program called CORE Pro. Pay monthly, get everything handled. Maintenance plans. Priority response. No more scrambling to find someone at 9pm when something breaks. It's working. We have members. They're happy. They tell their friends. Now we need someone to help us grow this thing properly. Why You Need to Know This World Here's what won't work: Someone with great sales skills but no understanding of trades and construction. You can't sell CORE Pro if you don't understand what we actually do. When a homeowner asks "why would I pay monthly instead of just calling when something breaks?" — you need to know that deferred maintenance costs 3x more to fix later. When a business owner asks "what's the difference between a journeyman and a certified technician?" — you can't fumble through that answer. When someone says "I can just get a handyman for $40/hour" — you need to understand why an unlicensed person touching electrical or plumbing is a liability. This role requires actual knowledge of the trades world. Not surface level. Real understanding. You need to know: How property maintenance actually works What services cost and why The difference between trades, licensing levels, and qualifications Why people avoid maintenance (and what happens when they do) How commercial properties differ from residential If you've never worked in construction, trades, property management, or facilities, you won't have the credibility to do this job well. What You'd Actually Be Doing Your job is to talk to people who are tired of managing their property the hard way — and show them there's a better option. Some of them have already used us once for plumbing and have no idea we do five other things. Some of them are paying $2,000/year in one-off service calls and don't realize a $99/month membership would save them money and stress. Some of them own three rental properties and are drowning in maintenance chaos. You'll: Talk to homeowners, landlords, and business owners Explain what CORE Pro actually is (because most people have never seen this model) Help them understand if it makes sense for them Book assessments with our team Follow up without being annoying Build actual relationships in Moncton This isn't cold calling strangers. It's conversations with people who already have property problems — you're just showing them a solution that already exists. Why This Job Is Different Most sales roles want you to close fast and move on. We want you to close right. A member who signs up, uses us for two years, adds a second property, and refers their brother-in-law is worth 10x more than someone who cancels after three months. So yeah, we care about numbers. But we care more about fit. You're not selling pressure washers at Costco. You're selling an ongoing relationship. That means you need to actually listen, qualify properly, and sometimes say "this isn't for you." You'd Probably Be Good At This If... You've worked in or around the trades/construction world and decided sales or business development was a better fit than swinging hammers. Maybe you: Worked in the field and moved into estimating or project management Sold building materials, tools, or equipment to contractors Managed facilities or properties and coordinated maintenance Worked for a GC, sub-contractor, or trades company in any capacity Came from property management, real estate investing, or commercial leasing You understand the language. You've been on job sites. You know what a service call actually involves. And you're good with people. You can explain things clearly. You can talk to a 60-year-old homeowner and a 35-year-old business owner in the same day. You're not afraid of price conversations. You don't panic when someone says "that seems expensive" — you just explain the value. You like the idea of building something, not just working for something that's already built. You'd Hate This Job If... You need a script to feel confident. You measure success purely in “closes this week.” You get uncomfortable when a sale takes more than one conversation. You think “following up” means sending the same email three times. You're looking for a job where you just show up, hit a number, and leave. What We're Offering Real compensation: Base salary + performance incentives. You're not starting at zero income, hoping it works out. Range is from $60K - $110K. Actual support: You'll get trained on the product, pricing, how to talk about it. Our ops team delivers what you sell — you're not out here alone. Something people want: You're not convincing anyone of something ridiculous. CORE Pro makes sense. People get it once they understand it. Room to grow: Right now we're focused on Residential and Commercial members. In 12 months, we'll be building Enterprise partnerships — bigger contracts, longer sales cycles, more complexity. If you're good at this, that's where you grow. Autonomy: We're not micromanaging your calendar. You're an adult. Manage your time. Show up to meetings. Hit your goals. We'll stay out of your way. The Real Question Here's what matters: Do you understand the trades world well enough to have credible conversations — and can you use that knowledge to build trust and close the right people? If yes, let's talk. How to Apply Send us: Your resume ( ) Five sentences (seriously, just five) answering this: "What's your background in trades/construction/property services — and why are you looking to move into (or stay in) sales?" "A homeowner says: 'Why would I pay $99/month when I only call a plumber once a year?' What do you say?" That's it. No cover letter. Email: (your email here) Subject line: Sales Lead We'll reply within 2 hours if we want to talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
