Opportunity: Are you passionate about insights and understanding how and why consumers make decisions? Are you excited by the challenge of transforming complex data into actionable insights? Do you want to play a role in shaping iconic Canadian brands like Bear Paws, Breton, and Whippet? This is a replacement position that will be required to be on-site a minimum of one day a week and will support the Consumer Insights Manager in leveraging data and research to fuel brand and business strategies. Responsibilities: Data collection and analysis : aggregate, condition, and analyze data from various sources, including customer transactions, surveys, and syndicated research Insight generation : identify trends, patterns, and consumer preferences to understand why customers choose certain brands or exhibit certain behaviours Reporting and communication : develop and present clear, concise reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences, across organizational levels Strategic support : provide data-driven insights and recommendations to guide decisions in marketing, product development, and customer engagement Market research : support market research projects, including survey programming, data processing, and analysis Data quality assurance : ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data collected and analyzed across platforms and initiatives Qualifications: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics or related field 2+ years of experience in a data insights/analytics role, ideally within CPG or Retail industries Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), database querying (SQL), and statistical programming (R, Python) Familiarity with NielsenIQ, Numerator, and Retailer POS platforms is an asset Experience with data visualization tools (SAC, PowerBI, Tableau) is an asset Attention to detail to deliver speed and accuracy of insights Able to present data analysis to stakeholders and decision-makers Experience in collaborating on projects and maintaining positive relationships Curious and proactive with a strong service orientation Strong written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented, organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Total Rewards Package : Our Total Rewards package reflects the investment we make in our employees to help them and their families achieve their well-being goals.
