Operate packaging and mixing equipment at Redpath Sugar’s Belleville plant while applying communication skills and attention to detail. Work scheduled eight-hour shifts.
As a General Labourer, you will support sugar blending and packaging operations for Canadian and U.S. customers. The role involves preparing materials, weighing ingredients, operating mixing systems, and supporting packaging lines. You will follow quality, safety, sanitation, and housekeeping requirements while completing documentation and verification activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare materials and weigh ingredients for product blending
- Operate mixing equipment and complete processing steps accurately
- Operate packing, labeling, and palletizing equipment
- Complete sanitation and housekeeping activities throughout the plant
- Maintain sampling, documentation, and verification activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to use hand tools and digital scales
- Ability to enter weights into a computer
- Attention to detail and pride in completed work
- Manufacturing or food production experience is an asset
