Objectives:

Our client, a professional engineering firm, has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Designer and Drafter. The successful candidate will provide CAD drafting services for upstream oil and gas facilities, pipelines and carbon capture projects. This includes designing Low and Medium Voltage engineering schematics for electrical installation, transmission and distribution systems; in collaboration with vendors, engineers and clients. They will contribute to diverse projects, each ranging from $1 million to $200 million total capital cost.


Qualifications:


At a minimum, we require:

  • Accredited technical degree or diploma (e.g., Electrical Engineering Technology).
  • 5+ years of experience providing electrical design and drafting services for oil and gas facilities and pipelines.
  • Experience using drafting and design software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Bluebeam.


Ideally, you also have:

  • Professional Technologist (P.Tech.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation.
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized (
