This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients. We are seeking for a Post-Market Quality Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in our upcoming commercial launch for the Globe® System. In this role, you will analyze post-market data, lead complaint investigations, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). You will collaborate cross-functionally with the Design and Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Risk Management Teams to drive continuous product and process improvements. Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC. Meaningful work you will be a part of Your responsibilities will be to: Lead investigations into product feedback and complaints related to medical devices Review and analyze post-market data including complaints, field actions, and customer feedback to identify trends and risks Collaborate with Engineering subject matter experts, Manufacturing, Test, and Quality Engineering teams on root-cause analyses Translate investigation findings into actionable design or process improvements to enhance product performance based on field data Build and maintain a knowledge base of investigation outcomes to support continuous improvement What you bring to the team Our Kardium team is smart, creative, and passionate about developing cutting-edge medical devices to help improve people’s lives. You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Software or Biomedical Engineering (or related field). Minimum 5 years’ experience in electromechanical root-cause investigation, design, and/or quality engineering, ideally in medical devices or another regulated, high-reliability industry. Proven track record in diagnosing complex failures in electromechanical systems and implementing effective solutions. Experience with signal processing and large data-set analysis Experience with Java, MATLAB, and C is preferred Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate findings into meaningful recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a technical context. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across teams and functions. Driven, motivated, curious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Compensation Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates withmore or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted. As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan. $87,000 - $112,000 (CAD Annually) Total cash – the total cash we’ve listed for this position includes a base salary, plus a contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings plans (RRSP) to help support your financial goals.
