This position will also include a variable compensation bonus. What you’ll be working on Provide case-specific support for advisors working on complex estate planning opportunities with clients Build the knowledge and capabilities of TruStone’s advisors in the area of tax and estate planning, in particular as it pertains to business owners, professionals and high net worth individuals Develop and deliver cutting-edge written content, presentations, and webinars focused on tax and estate planning opportunities for delivery to advisors Maintain and apply current expertise on provincial and federal tax legislation, relevant case law, accounting standards, and regulatory developments that impact complex life insurance planning Participate in select client-facing meetings alongside advisors to provide guidance and expertise in complex tax and estate planning cases, enhancing advisor credibility and helping to solidify complex planning recommendations Create and curate internal resources and marketing materials that articulate TruStone Financial’s expertise in advanced insurance planning What we’re looking for you to have Completion of a University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Finance, Law, or Accounting) or an equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in the life insurance industry, with a substantial focus on advanced sales, or business development within the High Net Worth market segment Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is required Life Insurance License, or a minimum of the LLQP completed Exceptional attention to detail/accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills Advanced Excel skills Enjoy working in a collaborative work environment CLU designation is an asset Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting membership is an asset If you are applying for a position which is open to applicants across Canada, unless otherwise indicated in the position, language proficiency in English is required for communicating with customers, advisors, or employees across Canada.
