Salary: $19.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Full time
Shift types: Early morning, Evening, Flexible hours, Weekend
Starts as soon as possible; vacancies: 3
Languages required: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
Work setting: Cafeteria
Responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Prepare and submit reports
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Establish work schedules
Supervision
Supervises 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, or 5-10 people depending on need.
