About this Role The Application Specialist is responsible for guidance, support, and architecture for enterprise software applications. This role requires extensive experience with large‑scale software applications, and software development processes. The ideal candidate can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical teams and non‑technical business users. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and expertise in enterprise applications, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining software applications within an organization. Educate users on how to effectively utilize the applications and their features. Create documentation to support user training and troubleshooting. Work with our IT partners and end-users to ensure applications meet business needs. Monitor application performance and identifying areas for improvement. Assist with system checks, updates, and quality assurance for enterprise applications. Collaborate with internal teams, partners and external vendors, including Microsoft, Aruba, Hewlett Packard etc. Ensure software development best practices, including source code control and software design processes. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical teams and non‑technical business users. Define and optimize business application configurations for improved performance and functionality. Proactively seek opportunities to educate users on new application features. Stay updated on AI applications in enterprise software and evaluate relevant solutions. Participate in various new software initiatives and ERP‑related projects. Research emerging technologies and best practices to enhance business solutions. Education and Experience Requirements 5-10 years of experience in enterprise software applications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent technical diploma and experience considered. Experience administrating and deploying Microsoft 365 Apps, including Power BI, Power Platform, and SharePoint. Strong background in software development and database management, with understanding of software lifecycle best practices. Strong communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Customer service‑oriented with strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and maintain discretion with sensitive information. ITIL certification, exposure to AI technologies, and experience with ERP systems will be considered assets. Physical/Sensory Effort/Work Environment Providing service to several people, companies or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines, working for a group of companies.
